Episode 25: Seth Everett on MLB.com’s Early Days, Baseball’s Current Challenges And More

It’s been a fun week! I took a last-second trip to Baltimore on Monday to see the Yankees’ comeback win against the Orioles. Now, as we publish our new episode, we can celebrate a sweep heading in to the holiday weekend. The Yanks will play a 3-game series in Kansas City against the Royals.

Of course I’ll recap the trip, but the big news on the podcast this week is our guest: sports reporter/host Seth Everett. His career has lasted nearly 25 years and spanned everything from TV (ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight”) to radio (Westwood One’s Olympics coverage) to the web (Forbes, MLB.com). We’ll talk about those early days of MLB’s online platform (when, I also first met him), the current challenges facing baseball and much more.

Seth is also the host of two podcasts, “Sports With Friends” and “Hall Of Justice.” Follow him on Twitter @Seth_Everett.

And as always, thank you for rating/reviewing/subscribing!
