Anthony Restaino

Episode 31: Meeting Mo AND Jeter

I know… it’s been a minute. No time to explain the hiatus because we have A LOT to get to on this week’s podcast. Tony “Cousin Tony” Restaino joins us in New York for this week’s taping. He and I have a number of recently shared Yankee experiences, including a meet-and-greet with Mariano Rivera after he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame over the summer. Anth and I chat about the pros and cons of that Fanatics/7th Inning Stretch event in this episode.

And then Monday, I met Derek Jeter. NO BIG DEAL. You’ll hear the quick word I had with “El Capitan” in this episode.

Good to be back — better that we’re in the ALCS. Let’s go Yankees!

Episode 30: Live from Cooperstown

We bring you episode 30 with a special group of guests live from Cooperstown, New York. It’s a town as timeless as the game of baseball. Me and the three guys I traveled with have a round-table discussion this week about our experience at the 2019 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction. We’ll give you the do’s, the don’ts and the tips as we prepare for a second trip next year in anticipation of Derek Jeter’s election.

A big thank you to Rob Valenti, Anthony Restaino and his father Anthony Sr. for hopping on the podcast from our backyard deck at the AirBnB we rented. It was a great trip to the HOF (and keep in mind, this was BEFORE we met Mariano Rivera) and you’ll hear why during the episode.

As always, thank you for rating/reviewing/subscribing – it helps a lot.

Episode 06: How To Buy Merch At A Discount, July 4th Gear, Citi Field Tips And More

We cover quite a bit in the latest episode of the podcast. Anthony Restaino, my best friend and fellow life-long Yankees fan, joins me from Western New York to co-host.

We kick things off by talking about the new “Stars and Stripes” collection that MLB will wear on-field for the Fourth of July. The Yankees’ apparel, specifically the hat, is particularly strong in the batch currently on sale. We then also compare tips on how to buy your favorite Yankees gear below retail and/or Stadium shop prices. Then, we look ahead to this weekend, talking about Yankee Stadium and Citi Field. The Yanks visit the Mets this weekend; Anthony and I will be at Saturday night’s game so I offer a few recommendations as far as tickets and food options at the ballpark.

As always, thank you for listening – and be sure to rate, review and subscribe on your favorite podcast service. Also, have a question or need help with something Yankees-related? Reach out on social media – we’re @PinstripeLanes everywhere!
